Jill Stephens

Jill Elizabeth Stephens, COTA, President, Principal Owner, & Co-Founder

Jill is a South Carolina-licensed occupational therapy assistant who has been lovingly caring for vulnerable populations for more than 30 years. Throughout her three decades of health care experience, Jill has worked in a variety of settings in Charleston, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, home health environments, and the Charleston County School District.

 

William A. Stephens II, MPAS, PA-C, Medical Director, Senior Consultant, Owner, & Co-Founder

William is licensed in New York and South Carolina to practice medicine as a physician assistant. He has 20 years of experience in civilian medical practice, eight years in military medical practice, and is certified in BLS, ACLS, prehospital trauma life support, and advance trauma life support. William currently works as an adjunct instructor at the Medical University of South Carolina and as a clinical instructor at Charleston Southern University.

In addition to his health and education experience, William has extensive military and defense experience, including 23 years in the South Carolina Army National Guard and six years as a police officer for the Charleston City Police Department. William is a founding member of his department's Police Environment Response Unit and is certified at the EPA level for hazmat response. He is also a graduate of a course on nuclear, biological, and chemical defense, as well as a graduate of the army's combat casualty care course and tactical medicine course.

Glen Stephens

Glen Stephens, Educational Consultant

Glen holds a Master’s of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Abilene Christian University and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology Secondary Education from Asbury University.

During seventeen years classroom education experience, Glen has contributed to public, private, and publicly funded charter schools. While serving the schools directly, he has been a classroom educator, technology advisor, and dean of a science department for schools and systems in Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. He has held state teaching certifications in each of those states. He currently holds North Carolina state teacher licenses for Middle Grades Science, High School Biology, and K-12 Grade Exceptional Children for General Curriculum in North Carolina.

In addition to Glen’s teaching licensures, he is certified by North Carolina Partners in Policymaking and in non-violent crisis intervention.

When not in a traditional classroom, Glen has served as the afterschool STEAM coordinator in the Greater Charlotte YMCA Association. He was also a member of the founding board of directors for the Family Support Network of Mecklenburg County, NC; and appointed to the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities.

Glen lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Emily, son, adopted John, and dog, Tink. When not keeping up with the latest in Educational law and COVID-19 responses and remote teaching his son; Glen enjoys horsing around with John, streaming old television programs with his wife, and volunteering with his wife at their church.
